Recently became a member of WCA (Women’s Caucus for Art), in search for an organization that has a long history of supporting women artists.

“The Women’s Caucus for Art, founded in 1972 in connection with the College Art Association (CAA), is a national member organization unique in its multi-disciplinary, multicultural membership of artists, art historians, students /educators, and museum professionals.”
“The mission of the Women’s Caucus for Art is to create community through art, education, and social activism. We are committed to: recognizing the contributions of women in the arts, providing women with leadership opportunities and professional development, expanding networking and exhibition opportunities for women and supporting local, national, and global art activism and advocating for equity in the arts for all.”
The WCA is currently having their national conference in Chicago from February 10th – February 15th. The lineup for this year’s conference includes: Carol Bjerke, Marilyn Hayes, Tritobia Hayes Benjamin, Mary Jane Jacob, Senga Nengudi, Joyce J. Scott, Yueh-mei Cheng and many more.
Next year’s conference will be in NYC…
